We aim to make our facilities and performances as accessible as possible.
Carers can receive a complimentary ticket when accompanying a ticket holder, but should bring an Access Card with a +1 symbol on it when attending the event. To ask for a carer’s ticket please email a photo of your access card to office@marinetheatre.com
We will email you the ticket.
You can apply for an access card here.
Seating is generally available at standing shows for those with limited mobility. Please check by emailing office@marinetheatre.com.
Wheelchair access
We have a wheelchair friendly venue with a level access foyer, theatre, and bar. There is an accessible toilet. There are two bars, unfortunately the upstairs bar is not accessible by wheelchair.
We can reserve space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters at shows. Seating at standing shows is available for those with access needs; please ask a member of staff.
Audio access
There is a hearing loop (audio induction loop) for those with hearing aids. Our hearing loop lets you hear the performance more clearly through your hearing aid. You’ll need to switch your hearing aid or CI to the hearing loop setting (also known as the ‘T’ setting or program). The signal from the hearing loop should cover all seating areas.
Dogs
Assistance animals are permitted in the Marine, but pets are not.
Our staff and volunteers are happy to help you to enjoy your visit, so please advise us of any special accessibility requirements by emailing office@marinetheatre.com.
