Following critically acclaimed runs of her solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival, award-winning stand up comedian Laura Lexx was voted Best Performer in the Comedians’ Choice Awards at two consecutive Edinburgh Festivals. She was also named in the Top 10 of Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Festival, with her solo show of the same year transferring to London’s prestigious Soho Theatre.
Laura’s extensive TV and radio credits include Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), BBC at the Edinburgh Festivals (BBC Two), Hypothetical (Dave), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), 4 Extra Stands Up (BBC Radio 4 Extra), The Comedy Club (BBC Radio 4 Extra) and The Jason Manford Show (Absolute Radio).
Laura is also known for her writing folowing the success of her first book ‘Klopp Actually’ based on her viral tweets about Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp. She is now working on her debut novel.

Popular with audiences across Wales and the West, Matt Pugsley combines his dry wit and cynical view of the world to create a side splitting blend of rapid fire one liners and hilarious short stories.
Hailing from a working class background, Pugsley shares comical tales of his upbringing, homelessness, and having middle class life slowly creep up on him in his mid 30’s.
An emerging talent, Pugsley has earned rave reviews from some of the region’s best comedy nights, and has performed alongside established names at some of the UK’s biggest comedy clubs.
RESIDENT TOM GLOVER
Originally from Bridport, Tom Glover has been hosting and performing at comedy nights in the south west since 2011. As well as being the resident compere at the Lyme Regis Comedy Club, Tom is also a regular host at the Weymouth Pavilion, Blandford Corn Exchange, Teignmouth Pavilions, and the Jurassic Fields Festival. His solo show A Glover Not A Fighter had a month long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
